Pet Skills page
"Blizzard has released a new wallpaper featuring exquisite artwork from the ""Mias the Putrid"" card from the WoW TCG.In the meantime, she's also added a few new pages to the library, namely the Retired Pet page and the "Fake" Pet Skills page. The work is just as fantastic as it was with previous TCG-themed work -- maybe even better.The former deals with formerly tamable pets that can no longer be tamed, while the latter deals with pet skills that are present during the newbie hunter taming quests, but not on any permanently tamed pet. Well, nothing is gonna beat the Stefen Colbear thing, but still. I rather like both of the new pages. It's fabulous. I say it's ""putrid, but in a sexy way"" with tongue in cheek, of course.Not only should the information be helpful (if sad) to any newbie wondering where they can get that awesome ghost wolf, but the pages were a nice walk down memory lane for this old hunter. play MMOs together
"WoW Insider has been contacted by a producer of the reality show Wife Swap -- apparently they're on the hunt for families who play WoW and other MMOs together, so they're sending out a casting call to the community.In the meantime, she's also added a few new pages to the library, namely the Retired Pet page and the "Fake" Pet Skills page. Any families applying should play MMOs together, have two parents and two children between 7 and 17, and live somewhere in the United States.The former deals with formerly tamable pets that can no longer be tamed, while the latter deals with pet skills that are present during the newbie hunter taming quests, but not on any permanently tamed pet. If you're chosen for the show, you get a $20,000 honorarium, and anyone who refers a family that makes it on the show gets a grand for their efforts. Your Greatest WoW Achievement?
"So I thought I'd start a thread where the WoW Allakhazamers can share their latest and greatest accomplishments in WoW. Today I dropped Mining to take up Enchanting aftermonths of internal debate. Whether a moment where you got a great piece of gear, your first raid, epic PvP moments, or just met a fantastic PuG and had a good time with them.I know the cost involved and it would break my back to level all the way to 375 for the Enchant Ring - Stats and the Enchant Ring - Healing Power along the way, but if I felt that if I were truly dedicated to Arena play, there simply was no other way. This way, everyone can post here and not just the experienced WoW players to answer questions Anyways, I'll break the ice.In fact, I'm rather disappointed in myself for having taken this long to take up Enchanting. I was playing my Warlock in AB, and I had just finished a battle with about 5 Allies, with about 6 other Hordies.Embarrassingly, I wasn't hardcore enough. I was the last man standing basically, I had dotted the last Ally but he ran away and I'm guessing he died.Fortunately, I had informed my wife of this decision weeks ago and she's been generous enough to amass a bunch of Enchanting materials for me to use in skilling up. Anyways so I'm capping the flag, eating food and water, basicaly resting after a harsh fight.She even made me a Spellfire Bag. Then 3 more Alliance characters stroll up the hill of the Lumber Mill on their mounts, all targeting me.Now the trek begins. wow powerleveling A Mage, Destruction Warlock, and Rogue. Of course, if you're not into the whole wedding thing, there are a bunch of alternative rings for your banker to show off their bling.
This meant trouble, but I couldn't run away, we almost had the base captureed, I had to put up some sort of fight, and I did.For the neck, you simply have to visit the ineffable Griftah and choose from his wide selection of wondrous accouterments. Basically I feared the Mage, seduced the Warlock, and kited the Rogue.I would recommend Gritah's Talisman of True Treasure Tracking, available for a reasonable 8 gold 75 Silver. po wow Once I finished the Rogue off, I Deathcoiled + Feared the mage, and obliterated the Warlock pretty easily with DoTs and Life Drain.It never hurts to have amulets that help you find more Gold, after all! All bankers simply must have an off-hand frill. The Mage was no problem after that =).It's the latest trend in banker fashion. Just a simple DoT, send pet, and go use the bathroom .I highly recommend the Gothic and classy Bouquet of Black Roses which can be purchased from herbalism suppliers in Stormwind and Thunder Bluff for a hefty 50 Gold. gold für wow I ended up dying in the end because reinforcements came, but dammit I felt powerful.A single Black Rose can be an equally classy statement, of course, but true connoisseurs know it's only a cheap 50 Silver from those same herb vendors. It hasnt happened 100% yet for me, but the closest I can get to it is when i dinged L.70 with three of my guys all within 10min.If you're more into celebrating your riches with a drink like those Dwarves, then might I recommend an Ornate Drinking Stein. The 100% Greatest thing will be when I hit level cap (whatever that is at the time) with all of my guys...This nice silver mug also comes from fishing and sells for 11 Gold to vendors, so players will likely sell it for around that price.

When that happens (if I dont severly burnout beforehand)...There are some browser addons out there that'll stop you from being Rick Rolled, if you're so inclined to install them. des po wow I think I will finally be done with WoW...But as always, be sure that you're getting these addons from a reputable source.. or at least until the raise the cap again. Got my Netherwing Drake on my Holy Paladin which was an... interesting, grind.

What second class to pick up?
"I have a 70 rogue as my main character. Today I dropped Mining to take up Enchanting aftermonths of internal debate. I like making huge dps, but would like to try something different.I know the cost involved and it would break my back to level all the way to 375 for the Enchant Ring - Stats and the Enchant Ring - Healing Power along the way, but if I felt that if I were truly dedicated to Arena play, there simply was no other way. I have been interested in shamans lately, but I read that they are weak in pvp.In fact, I'm rather disappointed in myself for having taken this long to take up Enchanting. What class would you suggest me to play after a rogue.Embarrassingly, I wasn't hardcore enough. Also, I want it to be pretty good at 1v1 and mass pvp My first 70 was a rogue, followed by a warrior.Fortunately, I had informed my wife of this decision weeks ago and she's been generous enough to amass a bunch of Enchanting materials for me to use in skilling up. Warriors are great, though I wouldn't recommend going from one fully melee toon to the other fully melee toon...She even made me a Spellfire Bag. there are a lot of differences, but there are also a lot of similarities.Now the trek begins. wow powerleveling I'd say try a caster! I currently play a shadow priest and am loving it, though if you're going to be mostly PvPing this is probably not the best choice (though I personally enjoy the challenge of it.) honestly shadow priests aren't as bad as a lot of people make them out to be (imho), but the fact that the community perceives us as much makes us get focused a LOT. Of course, if you're not into the whole wedding thing, there are a bunch of alternative rings for your banker to show off their bling.

I have 40 lock (my brother leveled him, till he decided to get hunter), 22 druid, 21 pally, 18 warrior, 11 shaman, 47 hunter (my brother's, but I can play it), and of course my main 70 rogue.There are some browser addons out there that'll stop you from being Rick Rolled, if you're so inclined to install them. des po wow I might try playing all of them again one day and then choose one to get to 70.But as always, be sure that you're getting these addons from a reputable source.. I have 40 lock (my brother leveled him, till he decided to get hunter), 22 druid, 21 pally, 18 warrior, 11 shaman, 47 hunter (my brother's, but I can play it), and of course my main 70 rogue.There are some browser addons out there that'll stop you from being Rick Rolled, if you're so inclined to install them. des po wow I might try playing all of them again one day and then choose one to get to 70.But as always, be sure that you're getting these addons from a reputable source.. Noor the pacifist
"Back in November 2007, columnist John Himes took a look at a special breed of player who levels from 1 to 70 in a decidedly unconventional manner: hunters who only melee, a naked (well, except for his loincloth) warrior – and Noor the pacifist, who levels without intentionally killing anything. Now, this isn't the first time we've heard of players who've given this idea a whirl, but Noor, a gnome rogue on Maiev, and his Horde counterpart, Reinisch the undead priest, seem to have the gumption and persistence to make it to the top of the XP tree. We checked on Noor and Reinisch's progress this month and found them plugging along merrily through battlegrounds, quests ... and yes, levels. Intrigued, we contacted the player behind the toons to find out what's behind this novel way of playing World of Warcraft. Read more about the attraction of playing a pacifist character, how to go about getting XP without killing anything – and of course, whether or not Noor thinks he can actually make it to 70 ... all after the break. Ok, so we gotta ask – why on earth a character that doesn't kill anything. wow eu Doesn't that feel like pulling teeth. I prefer doing stranger stuff, as opposed to grinding high-end instances. Both my priest and my rogue try not to hit anything, although there's always a chance of a misclick when trying to open a quest item with mobs fighting near it. Both of them always wield a fishing rod, so any accidental hits won't increase their weapon skills. wow power level Neither of them will do quests where they have to kill things. In battlegrounds, my rogue will throw bombs to interrupt flag captures and stun people and may even accidentally kill players low in health or nearby critters. My priest only heals, so he is actually closer in roleplaying terms. Neither will ""get around"" these limits by grouping and having other players do their dirty work. In terms of bragging rights, I intend to keep my rogue's weapon skills (dagger, thrown and unarmed) at all 1s. My priest will also have all 1s, but it won't be obvious on WoW Armory that he has no offensive spells beyond the level 1 Smite all priests start with. " .

"Gullerbone, a 24-year-old French WoW player, reached level 70 at 4:04 am (CET) on January 17, 2007. He is believed to be the world's first. The Burning Crusade, the expansion to World of Warcraft, the most popular MMO on earth with eight million subscribers, went on sale in the UK at midnight (GMT) on Monday 15 January. In addition, this attack will renew the duration of the Sunder Armor effect. So, 50% of Weapon Damage + 35 right. Additional Threat for Each application of Sunder. Wrong. Devastate ALWAYS deals 101 base threat. The tool tip Should read this: 50% of weapon damage, + an Additional 35 damage for each application of Sunder Armor. The Added threat implied from the tooltip is actually just Additional damage per sunder. for Devastate to Equal the Threat generated by Sunder, your Devastate must hit for 200 damage. Think the old 2handed MS theory, a big slow weapon with heavy top end damage will do more total DPS when used as an Instant attack. But, today, I face the most daunting of quest series. I am unsure of the sanity of the quest giver. As you can see, I am distraught from what he he has laid before me. However, I am assured that upon completion, I’ll be exalted with the Sin’Dorei Lineage, an achievement with yet to revealed value. Although he is a highly respected member of the Blood Elf race, I fear his time amongst the Horde has immensely distorted his perceptions of reality. What he asks is not possible for mere mortals. Yet in order to prove my worth, I must complete these tasks. " .

" Do I enjoy the drama. No. And that’s certainly not what this post, and the previous post, are about. But, damn it, it’s my blog and I’ll whine if I want to. (Maybe I should get a LiveJournal. ) Would I enjoy seeing his flesh flayed from his bones and his body left to bleach in the sun. Thoroughly. But I can be a rather ruthless and vindictive sort at times, admittedly. Do I plan to leave my server, or WoW altogether, over it. The thought had fleetingly crossed my mind, but was summarily dismissed as ridiculous. Yes, things certainly suck at the moment. Big time. But, I hold hope that I will rise like a phoenix from the ashes to glory in the light of the Sun(well. Lawl!). When I first start started playing WoW, I was encouraged to do so by a RL friend of mine. After rolling my first toon, I was invited into a guild comprised mostly of people who had all known or met one another in real life, usually through military assignments (this was when I was living in Anchorage, stationed at Elmendorf AFB with my [now ex] husband). That was three years ago. Now, between then and now, many of the folks from that guild have either stopped playing altogether, or have moved on to other servers. The guild leader of the guild and I have been in sporadic contact all along, and recently became closer friends as he returned to playing on Medivh. Since I was already an established member of a semi-consistent raid group at the time, and since we had always gotten along well and had shared fond memories of “way back when”, I did my best to make sure he was included in groups and raids and that he started to make friends and contacts on the server again so he could be more active.

Shortly thereafter, it all came to a boil, and I left The Kaldorei. At the time, I was feeling extremely stressed and extremely frustrated, and felt that it just wasn’t a healthy situation for me to continue to be in. After I left TK, I participated in a few Kara pugs that some friends had put together. Because I knew he enjoyed having things to do, I liked having him around, and knew he could benefit from a few upgrades, I extended an invitation to my old GM buddy. The second week of the pug, we got to Prince, and [The Decapitator] drops.
wow power level Our two tanks are: the MT of a higher-end guild currently sporting T5/T6 gear who’s just a friend that came to help us out, and my old GM buddy. The MT is the raid leader, and asks folks to roll on the item. He rolls on the item, because he genuinely wants it and will use it regularly. He has one already, but wants to dual-wield them for 5mans. My GM buddy also wants the axe, but decided not to roll on the item, even though several of us had encouraged him to do so if he really wanted it. MT wins the axe by default. GM buddy thanks folks for the invite, hearths, and logs for the night. I get an IM from him shortly thereafter, saying that what the MT did was a “dick move” since he was so over-geared for the place anyway. I mention that, had he actually expressed a serious interest in the item, the MT likely would’ve gladly given it to him, and the conversation degenerates from there. Fast forward three weeks. GM buddy hasn’t been on since “The Incident”. Hasn’t logged on WoW, haven’t seen him on AIM. Odd. I log back on, see a GMotD saying “Moving to a friend’s guild and retiring Amicitia. Please plan accordingly.” That same day, the guild I joined upon first installing the game, three years ago, disbanded. Today, I log on and see GM Buddy in Magister’s Terrace. With one of the officers from the co-op he encourgaed me to leave behind, and had introduced him to in the first place. The same guild that I had encouraged him to join and he refused because he “didn’t like how they do things”. A quick /who verifies it–he joined their guild. So… I go out of my way to get him into raids, introduce him to folks, make sure he has stuff to do. And then he badmouths the folks I’ve spent months working through content with, effectively encouraging to me /gquit and be done with it, and now he’s joined the very guild he was badmouthing." .

The Blood Legion
"The second obstacle, and probably the more difficult one, is that we are, and always have been, a casual guild. I don’t really want to make the transition to a raiding guild - there are several on Shandris that are far ahead of us in progression; if I wanted to raid hardcore, I could just apply to one of them - but I’m unsure how far we can get as a casual guild. There will always be that tension between the “raiders” and the “casuals”. The two groups’ goals are very different and somewhat incompatible. It’s already been suggested that we split the guild up - non-raiders, alts, people not yet to 70, and casuals would stay in The Blood Legion, and the raiders leave to form a new guild. I don’t think that will happen - I think the friendships are too strong - but that the idea was even raised was surprising. So, is this drama. I’m not really sure. To me, drama has always seemed to be one or two people that became disgruntled (usually over loot), started trash-talking the leaders behind their backs, and found other not-gruntled people, all the while not ever bringing their problem(s) into the open to be discussed like mature adults. Usually the whole thing eventually blows up in spectacular fashion, and The Disgruntleds end up leaving or getting kicked. What The Blood Legion is going through doesn’t seem like that to me. This seems more like growing pains. The guild is large enough now that is probably can’t hope to meet everyone’s goals like it did in the past. I’m not sure where this will lead, but I do believe that we will remain strong. " "Having had time to stew about it, I find I’m still extremely angry about yesterday’s revelation. Being very loyal by nature, it’s completely beyond my comprehension how people are able to treat others, particularly those who were supposedly friends, in such a manner and still be square with their own conscience.

Also, having had time to think of it, it occurred to me that my visitors have a distinct opportunity here to see a side of Dear Ol’ Lass that is seldom seen on the wilds of the web. Intentionally, I’ve tried to strip the majority of my personality out of my posts, instead preferring to represent information as mostly factual, somewhat editorial, but not very… real. At least in terms of tone. wow euro A specific example would be my deliberate censorship of my usual vocabulary. I honestly couldn’t guess how my visitors envision my personality and general behavior. I would say, though, that it’s probably pretty far off the mark. wow power leveling Which, until now, has suited me just fine. But, as you may have noticed, for what is probably the first time in the history of this blog, yesterday Lass “Dropped The ‘F’-Bomb”. And, I would say, with damn good reason. I was, and continue to be, angry. I don’t fancy myself some martyr by any means. wow powerleveling These things happen constantly, to people much less deserving than myself, and life goes on. But, for those that read this blog but have never had an actual conversation with me, allow me to let you in on a little secret. I’m a pretty high-strung individual. wow power level It doesn’t take a whole lot to rile me. I have a pretty strict code of personal conduct and ethics, and I have high expectations for people who have managed to gain my trust and respect, though I expect nothing of anyone else that I wouldn’t also expect from myself.
There are certain behaviors that I can excuse or just plain brush off and ignore, and there are others that I will fixate on and will gnaw at my consciousness for days until I have sufficiently vented my frustrations. (For those just tuning in: the past couple posts have been an attempt to satiate my need to bitch for no other reason to hear myself speak, and perhaps to garner sympathy, which I may not deserve but certainly crave.) " .

The New PvP Sets
"One of the new things to come in Patch 2.4 is a brand new Blue-level PvP-centered 5 piece set of armor that can be bought from various reputation vendors around the Outlands. The Thrallmar/Honor Hold, Cenarion Expedition, Keepers of Time, Lower City and the Sha’tar vendors all sell one piece and it looks like Honored with each group is the rep requirement. Wowhead has a page showing all of the different sets available to purchase. You’ll only see the piece(s) available to your class when you go to the vendor, but some classes have a couple different sets for different specs, so make sure you’re getting the one you want when you buy it. These sets becoming available is absolutely fantastic for McGraken. His gear is solid Greens at the moment, and I’m trying to not spend too much Gold buying new stuff. This gear is excellent for general PvE as well as PvP for a warrior, and it won’t cost very much at all to buy the pieces. I think I’m Honored with two or three of the factions already as well, so I can go grab those right off. " "On Tuesday Mornings, I try to fill some of the maintenance downtime void in your life by spotlighting some great aspect of the Warcraft community. The title is given to players who have completed the attunement quest for both The Eye and Serpentshrine Cavern. It requires a guild to have (at least) 25 dedicated players who are geared well enough to clear Karazhan, Gruul’s Lair, and kill Magtheridon. wow power leveling It’s definitely not for the weak or faint hearted I’m rather pleased that the guild has set this goal in place. I love the people in my guild, love BC raiding (at least the 10 man, so far), and I would love to have that title. The title will become unavailable once WotLK comes out, so there is a bit of urgency in completing the quests and clearing the dungeons that we need to do. wow powerleveling I also enjoy having that definite goal - it’s given the guild a focus that we did not have before and I’m enjoying learning what I need to help the guild progress. There are a number of obstacles in our way, however. The Blood Legion has been around almost since the launch of Shandris, and we’ve always been a casual guild. There are a number of people in the guild that are not yet 70, and a bunch of 70s that are not yet geared to raid. The first problem this presents is that we have a long, long road to travel, gear-wise. wow power level Many of us have only been to Kara a couple of times and lots of us are still in normal and Heroic Blues. We just started running a 2nd Kara team - which I joined; I’d been to Kara a few times already when it started, but I decided to join them because the people on it were more fun - so that will help significantly with gear, but there is still a long ways to go.

Grouping and Leveling Time

Data Filter: None Sample Size: 81,887 leveling events How does grouping ratio affect leveling time. wow profession leveling Does grouping more help or hurt leveling time. Of course, because we are looking at correlational data, we won't be able to pinpoint causality or directionality (or a third variable that isn't accounted for), but the data might lend support to either the ""help"" or ""hurt"" hypothesis and help us further explore the impact of grouping behavior on game-play. We ran an ANOVA with Group Ratio and Level as the independent variables, and Leveling Time as the dependent variable. "Shaman Healing Guide
"Overhealing In some fights you can have good coordination with the other healers. In others, you won’t. You’re destined to overheal and you shouldn’t be afraid of it. If you have a mana issue you’re probably not the main healer anyway. In that case save your mana for the hard part of the fight (and go get yourself better gear). wow honor If you don’t, just do it. You can stop the heals if the fight is not too hard, but stopping and starting again takes time. During that time the tank might die. If you anticipate the tank to take some damage, just throw the heal anyway. A good way to understand where you’re standing is by using Heal Meters (same mod as Damage Meters). How can you be a great healer – Start and Stop your heals This is fairly simple but few people practice it. guild wars gold You’ll find yourself in a situation where your tank is not adequately dressed, or he is simply taking too much damage. The only way to save him is by starting and stopping your heals. You start a healing wave, let it run its course for 2secs and – if the tank has taken damage you let it complete – if it hasn’t, you stop it by hitting escape. And then you start the next one. cheap wow gold This is going to drive you crazy (that’s why people don’t do it :p) as you need to be always on the edge. You can’t relax. Sometimes the tank will be lucky, he will dodge and parry and won’t take any damage. And you’ll start letting go. You’ll stop starting and stopping your heals. "I got incredibly frustrated last night trying to play in AV (Alliance, Rampage US battlegroup) and it has led me to this post.
There does not seem to be an Alliance strategy that our battle group seems to know or try to adhere to so I want to ask some of the AV ""pros"" out there how they win AV as Alliance.
I always see around 25 Horde on offense, and 10-15 playing defense (holding or ninja'ng towers) and this tends to lead to an Alliance loss.
Does defending Stoneheart Graveyard or Tower do more good or more harm for the cause.
I'm far from a pro but I have made a few observations:
One problem I do see a lot is that horde will send in one player to pull the NPC's away from a from a specific position.mmorpg gold.
Naturally the players will also run after the lone horde player.
Now that the node is clear, more horde will come in and easily cap the position.
The biggest problem is that people just want to fight people rather then defending and completing objectives.mp3 players.
Topping the damage or HK charts doesn't necessarily win the battles, completing the objectives and holding positions does.
You will always get more honor for winning then losing, regardless of how much damage you do or how many people you kill.
The other issue I've seen is that no one will take over GY's.runescape money.
These are key becasuse it determines spawn points when players die.
My biggest pet peeve is when we fall 1 point behind and the BG chat starts to fill with ""let them win"" or when we run out of the cave and 10 people are still at the BG spawn point.
